Rudaw Media Network and the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) are launching a partnership to train women in the media, covering all cities in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq in general.
In 12 months, Rudaw Media Network, in partnership with the United Nations Population Fund, will train more than 300 women across Iraq. The first month of the partnership will be dedicated to residents of Erbil province. The aim of the training is to continue Rudaw's efforts to support and implement the sustainable development goals, which have become a major UN plan and objective since 2015.
The partnership between Rudaw Media Network and UNFPA will enter the practical phase and registration will be opened between January 4-13, 2024 for a strong training for women. Interested candidates who meet the following requirements can send their CVs.
Requirements:
• Final year student or fresh graduate.
• Knowledge of English and Kurdish.
• Have a genuine desire for journalism.
• Communication and writing skills.
• Increasing the participation and influence of women in journalism should be a major demand.
• Aged under 30.
• The training is for women only.
