ERBIL, Kurdistan Region -  The Kurdistan’s Worker’s Party (PKK) has released a video on their official website Saturday showing last week's attack on the Shah Deniz pipeline that transports natural gas from Azerbaijan to Turkey.

The PKK has not claimed responsibility for the attack and the Turkish government has not issued any official statement regarding the issue.

Shah Deniz is the largest gas field in Azerbaijan, and is being developed by several companies, including British oil major BP and Azerbaijan's state energy company SOCAR.

Recently, a splinter wing of the PKK launched an attack on the Kirkuk-Ceyhan pipeline which transports crude from the Kurdistan region to Turkey. The cabinet of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) condemned the attack as an attempt to discredit Kurdish people in the Kurdistan region.

In July, a similar attack targeted the Turkey-Iran natural gas pipeline in Agri, a Kurdish province of Turkey on the border with Iran.
