Mujgan Ekin, a 29-year-old female Kurdish journalist in Turkey has been missing for two months. She is from Diyarbakir and before going missing she was working for a local TV channel.

According to her family, she disappeared after she traveled to Ankara to complain to the government about shutting down the channel she was working for.

Her father is suspicious about the government’s inability to find those who may be behind her disappearance and human rights activists in Diyarbakir demand an investigation into her case.
