People's Protection Units, known as the YPG, have retaken some areas that were controlled by ISIS in Thursday's brutal attack on the city of Kobani.
Mishta Nur Hospital, in the south of Kobani, and a several buildings and a mosque in the north are still at the hands of Islamic State militants, a Kobani official told Rudaw Friday.
According to the recent figures obtained by Rudaw, 142 civilians were killed and 183 others wounded.
