Demonstrators in Cil Axa (al-Jawadiyah in Arabic) in the northeastern Syrian governorate of Hasakah express support for Kurds in Afrin.

They are carrying flags and banners of imprisoned jailed PKK leader Abdullah Ocalan, known as Apo, as well as those of the YPG, YBS and SDF.

The sign reads "Afrin we are all with you in soul and we'll make Rojava a graveyard for invaders."

Cil Axa and Afrin are separated by 445 kilometers.
