A Kurdish family in Aleppo's Kurdish neighborhood of Sheikh Maqsoud were reportedly killed in a targeted bomb attack by an Islamist group early on Saturday.

According to video footage obtained by Rudaw, an Islamist group named Soltan Murad infiltrated the district and killed seven members of the Kurdish family.

Sheikh Maqsud is under control of the Kurdish dominated Syrian Democratic Force (SDF).

The district has seen dozens of attacks and shelling by Islamist groups which the Amnesty International recently said amounted to war crimes.
