ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - A Rudaw TV reporter who was captured by the Islamic State while reporting in Syria last year was released Tuesday.
Farhad Hamo was captured with colleague Massoud Aqeel by ISIS militants on December 15 at the Heso-Ratla junction on the main highway between Qamishlo to Tel Kocher.
The Rudaw Media Network announced the release of Aqeel on Sept 21.
