Two car bombs explode in east Mosul

MOSUL, Iraq – Two suicide car bombings have hit the east side of Mosul, resulting in civilian casualties.

“Two explosions have ripped through Mosul’s Rashidiya district and the city’s forests, causing tens of casualties, mostly civilians,” Saeed Mamuzini, a Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) official for Mosul affairs, told Rudaw.

The number of casualties is not yet clear, he added.
