In Rashidia, one of the last neighborhoods in eastern Mosul to fall to the Iraqi army, ISIS militants have left behind bomb factories and many types of explosives and rockets some of which improvised by themselves.
A Rudaw crew accompanied the Iraqi army into this neighborhood as they reclaimed it from the radical group to finish the task of liberating the entire eastern side of the city.
Iraqi troops suffered heavy casualties in their push for this and other neighborhoods, mainly due to mortar attacks and car bombs coming at them from various corners. But now officials in Baghdad have announced full control of the eastern bank of the city from ISIS.
