Iraqi army and Shiite militia known as Hashd al-Shaabi have entered the center of Fallujah city, 70 kilometers west of capital Baghdad early Friday.
The Iraqi forces have reportedly recaptured 70% of the city, including the main government complex where the Iraqi flag is now flying.
Fallujah was the first city that was controlled by Islamic State militants when they stormed across Iraq in June 2014
