Iraqi forces target hospital rumored to hold 400 ISIS hostages

MOSUL, Iraq – Iraqi forces are focusing on two hospitals in western Mosul where intelligence officials believe ISIS may be holding nearly 400 hostages, including Iraqi army members, Peshmerga, Hashd al-Shaabi fighters, and captured Yezidis. 

The forces are engaging ISIS in the Zanjali and Saha neighbourhoods.

Civilians continue to lose their lives as they try to flee the fighting.
