Coalition airstrikes slam ISIS bases in Syria, Iraq

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - The US-led coalition launched at least 11 new airstrikes on ISIS positions in Iraq and Syria, the US Army Central Command has confirmed.
Coalition warplanes targeted “the cities of Kirkuk, Talafar and Beji town,” according to a statement released Wednesday.

The statement added that intense airstrikes were carried out in the area of Dera Zur in  Syria, destroying a number of military vehicles.

In addition to shelling the ISIS bases, “several check points and military bases were also targeted,” the statement said. 

Warplanes from the United Arab Emirates  were also reported to have resumed attacks on ISIS bases in Syria.
