ROME, Italy -- At the meeting of representatives of 23 countries in the Italian capital to address the ISIS threat in Libya, US Secretary of State John Kerry said the Turkey-Syria border has been sealed off.
He said that 20,000 Iraqi and Peshmerga forces have been trained by the coalition.
Italian Foreign Minister Paolo Gentiloni said Italy has trained the Peshmerga and supplied weapons to them.
He stressed the importance of supporting the Peshmerga in fighting ISIS.
Meanwhile Italy has sent 450 soldiers to protect the fragile and threatened Mosul Dam.
The Peshmerga removed ISIS control on the Mosul Dam in 2014.
The meeting in Rome was to address ISIS in Libya because its militants are flocking there after their losses in Iraq and Syria.
