Hackers gather in Erbil

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — A group of 50 computer hackers and young enthusiasts have gathered in Erbil to compete for a special course in computer security later in the US.
 
The youth will have the opportunity to find a computer problem and offer a solution for it.
 
“This is a two-day event. These young people come here and offer their distinctive projects,” said Goran Serko Cewdet, an organizer of the event.
 
Cewdet said the 12-week computer course will be held in San Francisco in the US later this year.
