A segment of Khabat Thermal Power to produce electricity in the town of Khabat in Erbil is finished.

After three years of construction, the advanced and new power station is almost finished which will provide more megawatts of power increasing the daily amount of electricity to the Kurdistan Region.

The new power station will cost less to maintain and uses unique technology to increase production capabilities which involves using boiling water to create evaporation. The turbines of the station operate via the vapor producing power energy.
