ERBIL, Kurdistan Region – US Deputy Secretary of State Antony Blinken arrived in Erbil on Monday to discuss security and political issues with Kurdish officials. Blinken, who met recently with officials in Ankara and Baghdad, has come to the Kurdistan region capital to meet region leader Masoud Barzani, Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani and other officials. War against the Islamic State (ISIS) and the refugee crisis in the Kurdistan region will be the top issues discussed by the diplomats.
