ERBIL, Kurdistan Region—Four people were injured when a bomb went off on Erbil-Kirkuk road Saturday afternoon, security officials said.
A source who didn’t want to be named, told Rudaw that the bomb was attached to a car with a Baghdad number plate and it went off near the Erbil Technical Institute.
Tariq Nuri, Erbil’s security chief said that investigations are underway about the incident.
Nuri assured the people of Erbil that “the security situation is stable and things are under control."
