ERBIL, Kurdistan Region—Prime Minister of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani is due to arrive in Turkey on Wednesdayand meet with Turkey’s top officials including President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in Istanbul, and Prime Minister Binali Yıldırım in the Turkish capital of Ankara on a range of issues, Barzani’s office said.
Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) spokesperson Safeen Dizayee told Rudaw that in his meetings with the Turkish officials PM Barzani “will tackle political, security and economic issues,” between both countries.
Rudaw has also learned that PM Barzani will be discussing the peace process in Turkey and Kurdish question in that country in general.
