ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — Rudaw recently interviewed Abdulla Kurdi, the father of Alan Kurdi, the drowned Syrian Kurdish toddler whose death in early September sparked outrage after a widely shared photo showed his body washed ashore on a Turkish beach following a failed attempt by his family to reach Greece.

Abdulla Kurdi was in Erbil as a guest of Nechirvan Barzani. More of his interaction with Rudaw can be seen in the above video.
