Refugees from Myanmar seek international aid, safety
Hundreds of thousands of Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar have fled to neighboring Bangladesh's southeastern coastal region of Ukhiya because of violence in their homeland.
The situation in the makeshift camps is unbearable. People walk barefoot, unable to shower, and wait for food deliveries.
A fourth-grade student named Mohammed Khalid was wounded as he was fleeing Myanmar, which is also called Burma.
He says he cannot get treatment and wants to return to school.
They are looking for the international community to ease their situation.
For now, they have only received help from local Bangladeshis.
