TORONTO — As the Kurdish people continue to fight for freedoms in the Middle East, over 8,000 kilometers away in Toronto, Canada, Kurds are in a different kind of struggle.
They are looking to the West for political solutions to their people’s suffering. It is all part of the annual Kurdish National Congress of North America conference. In the above video, Chris Kayaniotes speaks with Kurds in Canada about how their personal pain is fueling their political activism.
