2 bomb blasts hit Qamishli

Qamishli, SYRIA — Twin bomb blasts occurred in Qamishli Monday, a Kurdish city in northeastern Syria on the border with Turkey, killing at least three children and inflicting an as of yet unidentified number of casualties.
 
According to a Rudaw correspondent in Qamishli, motorcyclists carried out the bombings, and the first occurred in a livestock market, killing three children.
 
The first motorcyclist lost his leg and was transferred to a hospital alive.
 
The other motorcyclist blew himself up on a security vehicle in the Corniche neighborhood.
