Syrian Kurdish war refugees say they are ready to fight anywhere for Kurdish cause

Syrian Kurdish war refugees who have taken shelter in the Kurdistan Region say they have trained for battle and are ready to join any fighting where Kurds are involved.

Their declaration of readiness comes amid reports that Syrian Kurdish forces have launched an assault on Raqqa, the Islamic State’s so-called capital in Syria.

They especially want to fight in the battles in Raqqa, where the YPG forces are fighting alongside the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).

The Syrian Kurds have participated in a couple of offensives against ISIS in the Kurdistan Region.

They say this has given them war experience.

The Roj Brigade belongs to the Rojava Kurds and is part of the Kurdistan Region’s Peshmerga ministry.

33 Roj Brigade Peshmerga have been killed in war against ISIS in the Kurdistan Region.
