ERBIL, Kurdistan Region — An midday explosion on Wednesday in the old Justice Palace in the al-Hamidiyeh area of the Syrian capital city of Damascus was reported by Syrian state media.
SANA, the Syrian Arab News Agency, reported 25 civilians were killed and other were injured, citing a source at Damascus Police Command.
On Saturday, a twin bomb attack that targeted mainly Iraqi Shiite pilgrims in Damascus killed 40 Iraqis, and injured another 120 people.
