People in Kobani have been protesting against placing concrete wall between Syria's Kurdish region and Turkey's Kurdish region. Turkish soldiers responded by opening fire on these protesters on Friday.
Clashes occurred between the protesters and Turkish soldiers led to the shooting dead of two of the protesters, scores more were injured.
Turkey began placing this concrete barrier (which is 4 meters high) along the Turkish border with the Syrian Kurdish city of Kobani four days ago.
