US soldiers pound ISIS in Mosul with M777 artillery shells

US Soldiers of 1st Battalion, 320th Field Artillery Regiment, 101st Airborne Division pound ISIS with M777 artillery shells in support of Iraqi army in the offensive to retake Mosul city from ISIS.

This is part of Operation Inherent Resolve against ISIS which the US and other coalition countries launched in support of Iraqi troops against ISIS in 2014.

They have fought ISIS with air strikes, artillery and military advice and training.
