ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - Iraq’s Ministry of Transport has suspended flights to Beirut on Friday following a massive strike on the Lebanese city.

“All Iraqi Airways flights to and from Beirut have been suspended until further notice, due to the deteriorating security situation in Lebanon," the ministry said in a statement.

Israel Defence Forces said they carried out a “precise strike” on Hezbollah’s main headquarters in Beirut. Multiple residential buildings were destroyed, according to media reports.
