Iraqi army loading the guns for a new round of Mosul battle

The Iraqi military says it is fully prepared for the second phase of the battle for Mosul two and a half months after they launched an offensive to retake the city from ISIS. The army is now loading trucks with ammunition, artillery shells and weapons that will assist in pushing the extremist group out of Mosul.

Since October 17, says the army, it has liberated at least 40 neighborhoods of Mosul from ISIS and all that lies on the eastern side of the city. The heavy battles are expected to take place on the western side of the Tigris River where ISIS has its strength and most of its fighters.
