Seven killed as two car bombs strike district of Diyala
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - Two suspected ISIS car bombs a district in Diyala province, killing four fighters in one case and three civilians in another, security officials said on Tuesday.
“A car bomb has targeted a force of PMF [People’s Mobilization Forces] in the district of Tuz Khormato in Diyala, killing four fighters and wounding nine others,” said an Iraqi official.
Faruq Ahmad, Tuz Khormato’s security administrator, said another car bomb went off near the Shiite Shohada mosque in the Sarbzani area, killing three civilians and wounding three others.
