At the Abdul Kadir Al-Kilani mosque in Baghdad, cooks prepare vats of food for the city's poor during the holy month of Ramadan.
Muslims believe that helping the poor people through donations and fasting during the month of Ramadan are two of the five pillars of Islam - Zakat and Sawm.
"During Ramadan, they distribute the best kinds of food for poor people," said Nisrine Yusef, who has come to the mosque to eat. "They also give us clothes and money," she adds.
It's one way to ensure that even the poorest in Baghdad can enjoy a delicious iftar when the sun goes down.
