ERBIL,Kurdistan Region — As multiple bombings targeted civilians in Baghdad on Monday, Iraqi Prime Minister warned that ISIS is trying to "sow discord" among the Iraqi people through conducting their terror attacks.
Abadi made the remark during a press conference with French President Francois Hollande in Baghdad.
“We notify (Iraqi) citizens and security forces that Daesh (ISIS) is attempting to sow discord among our people,” Abadi warned.
ISIS claimed responsibility for three separate bombings which killed nearly 100 civilians in Baghdad on Monday.
These bombings went off hours after French President Hollande landed in Baghdad where he met with his counterpart Fuad Masum and Prime Minister Abadi.
Hollande, for his part, reaffirmed his country's support for Iraqi armed forces, both militarily and logistically.
He said his country was backing Iraq until ISIS was completely defeated in the country.

The French president emphasized the importance of intelligence information between Baghdad and Paris even in the post-ISIS period.
Warning of the danger of French jihadists fighting for ISIS in Iraq and Syria, Hollande vowed to kill them all as they pose threats to France.
