Three residents of Akre died in traffic accident in Rojhelat

ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - A car accident on Friday on a main road between the Kurdish cities of Naqadeh and Piranshahr in Western Iran (Rojhelat) killed four people, including three residents of Akre city, Kurdistan Region, according to sources. 

Masoud Rostam, Ali Hamdi and Fakhri Zero are from Akre’s Kelabi village. They went to Iran for holiday a few days ago. While returning home, their taxi had an accident on a main road between Naqadeh and Piranshahr cities on Friday. All three died in the incident, Ismail Mam Hajika, a relative of the victims, told Rudaw’s Azad Pirchawshi late Friday. 

The local driver of the taxi also died in the accident, an informed source told Rudaw. 

The source, who preferred not to be identified, also said that the cause of the incident is believed to be speed, adding that four people have been injured as well. 

The injury of some of the people is serious and they have been hospitalised in Naqadeh.
