Students and staff at the University of Kurdistan – Hewler marked World Food Day by preparing and presenting Kurdish dishes and cuisines from around the globe.
World Food Day is celebrated every year around October 16. It marks the founding of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations in 1945.
Events are held worldwide to draw attention to nutrition, food wastage, sustainability, and ending world hunger.
