Muslims in the Kurdistan Region’s Duhok gathered on Sunday to perform Eid al-Fitr prayers together.
In the Martyrs’ Mosque of Duhok – among the most famous mosques in the city – scores of Muslims gathered for prayer and to ask for forgiveness as they marked the end of Ramadan with Eid al-Fitr, a three-day holiday.
The Kurdistan Region declared Sunday as the first day of Eid al-Fitr but in Iraq, Monday is the first day.
