The destroyed homes of the Iraqi attack on Zummar
A number of villages in Zummar, northwest of Mosul were destroyed following recent attacks by Iran-backed Hashd al-Shaabi militia and Iraqi army against Kurdish Peshmerga forces in the area.
The pictures show people standing by their demolished homes.
Iraqi forces mounted a new assault on October 26 against the Peshmerga in Zummar.
