Rudaw TV celebrates 3 year anniversary
Rudaw Media Network marks the third anniversary of Rudaw TV today and entered the fourth year of broadcasting and publishing at six o'clock this evening.
The project, the establishment, management style, and work of Rudaw Media Network was a unique move in the Kurdish media. After Rudaw Media Network was established, the Kurdish media occupied its place among the region's and the World’s media. These successes were the result of the experience and the efforts of the employees of the Rudaw Media Network.
Rudaw Media Network shares this success and development with its viewers, listeners and readers and all the people of Kurdistan, and it congratulates them on this twenty-ninth day of May. Since starting broadcasting on this day, Kurdistan has become a great media brand at a national and international level through Rudawl.
The Rudaw Media Network, within the past three years, has totally become a service agency in the field of news and information. Rudaw has been without a competitor in covering news about events in Kurdistan, the region and the world. It has also been without a competitor in covering events of Kurdistan, its situation and cultural events to the 54-member European Community News or ENEX.
Rudaw offers four television reports on the news of all parts of Kurdistan on a daily basis to the 54 global channels, with an annual total of 1440 TV reports. This was very necessary to Kurdistan, and at the same time it was a unique move and a source of great pride for the Rudaw Media Network.
The magnificence of Rudaw Media Network's work is evident to all. Its impact is seen day after day. After Rudaw Media Network was established, the people of Kurdistan realized that the information of events of all the parts of Kurdistan is easily accessible. And the concerns and topics from the streets of Kurdistan are now present in major decision-making centers around the world. And now, too, Rudaw Media Network is developing greater experience and stronger relationships to expand its work. The coming years will witness greater development of Rudaw.
All our Rudaw employees remember our great successes of the last three years today with pride. But we also remember with sadness our colleague Farhad Hemo who was captured by Islamic State (ISIS) while he was reporting for Rudaw on December 15, 2014 on the main road to Qamishlo in western Kurdistan.
