Tuz Khurmatu displaced families living in miserable conditions in Garmiyan
Children from Tuz Khurmatu who fled their home along with their families to neighboring Kifiri from the north in Garmiyan bloc, are living in miserable conditions with no glimmer of hope to return to restart school and continue a normal life.
They are in desperate need of aid as the weather is starting to get cold.
Asma, Suzan, and Hozan are the same age, looking for some clothes as they couldn’t take anything when they fled Hashd and the army.
As winter approaches, their major concern is how to stay warm. They want good shelter and health services.
Fearing violence and abuses at the hands of Iran backed Shiite militias of the Hashd al-Shaabi, more than a hundred thousand Kurds in Tuz Khumratu were displaced including large numbers of women and children.
