The Kurdistan Orchestra-Hawler played at Saad Abdullah Hall, Erbil on Sunday, alongside the Georgian Orchestra. The two groups played pieces of both Kurdish and world classical music.

The Erbil-based orchestra was established in 1997, and have played both in and outside of Kurdistan.

The event was free, and open to the general public. Kurdish artists, authors and politicians were among those in attendance.
