People in Sulaimani show support for Kurdish independence

As the independence vote date nears, some people in the city of Sulaimani took to the streets yesterday adorning their vehicles with the Kurdistan flag.

The Kurdistan Region is scheduled to hold a referendum on independence on Monday.

Question on the ballots will be: “Do you want the Kurdistan Region and the Kurdistani areas outside the administration of the Region to become an independent state?”
