Amid economic crisis, Kurdish farmers expect good rice harvest this year

Kurdish farmers in the town of Akre have started harvesting their rice fields.


Farmers speak of a good harvest this year due to good weather and fertile land.


More than 625 hectares were turned to rice fields this year and the harvest is expected to reach at least 2,000 tons.
