Christian village draws on its Peshmerga history to support independence
Stories of their parents fighting alongside Mullah Mustafa Barzani in the 1961 September Revolution are inspiring support for Kurdistan independence among the new generation of the Christian village of Dure, home to many Peshmerga heroes.
