President Barzani to participate in 'historic' conference on Kurds
NEW YORK, United States — President of the Kurdistan Region Nechirvan Barzani will deliver a keynote speech later this week at a historic conference on the Kurds in the Middle East.
The Jackson Institute for Global Affairs at Yale University and the New York based non-profit Justice for Kurds will sponsor a four part virtual conference on 'the Kurds in the Middle East'.
Barzani will deliver the speech in a session with the two founders of Justice for Kurds, Thomas Kaplan and Bernard Henri Levi. The conference will be moderated by Emma Sky, senior fellow at the Jackson Institute.
"It will be an audience of scholars, strategists, geopoliticians, retired very high-ranking militaries, opinion leaders, and high level journalists. It will be an important audience" Bernard Henri Levi, the President of Justice for Kurds told Rudaw Media Network.
Rudaw Media Network is partnering with Justice for Kurds to provide live coverage of the conference, which will host speakers including former CIA director General David Petraeus and Former US envoy to Syria Ambassador Robert Ford.
