ERBIL, Kurdistan Region—The newly appointed United States Consul in Erbil, Ken Gross, has issued an Eid message to the people of Kurdistan.
“This is my first time in the Kurdistan Region,” Gross said. “I’m looking forward to learning about your culture and meeting as many of you as possible. And to advancing our mutual interests, such as the fight against Daesh [Islamic State] and establishing strong ties between our two societies.”
