About 4,000 graduates of the 36th Class at Salahaddin University walked down the aisle to receive their diplomas at Erbil’s Franso Hariri Stadium on Sunday.

The ratio of the students who passed in the first-round at Salahaddin University is as follows:
This year 62 percent of students passed their exams on the first attempt. That is slightly down from 67 percent in 2016, and 69 percent in 2015.

“The crisis has affected the students passing, but at the end of the year the ratio of the students who pass will increase [after their second attempt]," Dr. Ahmed Dizeyi, the president of the Salahaddin University, told Rudaw.

Salahaddin University is the oldest, biggest and a top public university in Kurdistan.
