Rudaw Media Network wins Gold Stevie Award for media company of 2023
ERBIL, Kurdistan Region - Rudaw Media Network is the proud recipient of the esteemed International Business Awards’ Gold Stevie Award for medium-sized media and entertainment company of the year, in recognition of its exceptional achievements in the realm of media.
The Stevie Awards recognize business companies around the globe across eight different programs, being bestowed to the participant with the highest ranking. The competitions attract more than 12,000 entries from more than 70 nations on a yearly basis.
Over 3,700 organizations from more than 60 nations were nominated for the 20th annual International Business Awards this year.

Over 230 professionals and experts from around the world participated in this year’s judging process which took more than two months.

The award was focused on three of Rudaw’s leading shows - Berpirsiyar, Legel Ranj, and Dr. Aras. The shows touch upon numerous social issues ranging from medical issues to violence against women in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq.
In addition to its top-notch quality television programming, Rudaw also maintains its position as one of the Kurdistan Region’s most popular social media accounts over various platforms.
Rudaw’s videos on Facebook have generated over 152 million views over the past two weeks, and its posts have received more than eight million reactions during that period. Rudaw’s Instagram posts have reached over 1.4 million users in the past week.

The winners of the 20th annual International Business Awards will be celebrated during a gala event in Italy’s capital of Rome on October 13 later this year.
