A Yazidi woman holding the Armenian passport on Sunday received the prestigious Jemal Nebez Award in recognition of her significant contributions to the Kurdish language and the Yazidi community, according to a statement from the award commission.

The 17th International Book Fair kicked off in Erbil on Wednesday, featuring hundreds of publishing houses from around the world.
